Family Photographer in Land O’ Lakes, Florida
The streets here are peaceful. Roads twist under big oaks and you catch open water where you don’t expect it. Land O’ Lakes families tend to know the area well, but most have never thought about using it as a backdrop.
Two spots I come back to: Cypress Creek Preserve and Heritage Park. Cypress Creek has long boardwalk sections and natural Florida scrub that photographs well at golden hour. Heritage Park sits along Lake Padgett — open shoreline, tree cover along the edges, easy space for kids to move around without wandering into traffic.
My favorite thing about shooting here is just letting families walk. I follow. Nobody’s lined up or posed — your kids are running ahead, you’re catching up, and I’m somewhere behind getting the frames you’ll want on your wall.
I don’t pose families. I put you in a location and let things happen. That’s the only way I know how to get real pictures of real people.

FAQ
Where do you shoot family sessions in Land O’ Lakes? Cypress Creek Preserve and Heritage Park are my two main spots. Cypress Creek has boardwalk trails and good low light in the scrub. Heritage Park is open and flat with solid golden hour light coming in from the west.
How much does a family session cost? Our one and only session package is $900. See details on our pricing page for what’s included.
Do you pose families? No. I put you in a spot and keep things moving. Your kids will be doing their own thing anyway — I just let that happen and photograph it.
