We plan it. I guide it. You treasure it.

Step 1: Plan with confidence

Wardrobe, location, and what to expect are all made simple before your session ever begins.

Step 2: Enjoy the session

I guide the whole session and work with your kids as they are, so nothing feels forced or overcomplicated.

Step 3: Treasure what matters

You get meaningful images that feel real, connected, and worth holding onto.

1.) What you'll walk away with:

2.) Clear direction (no guessing)

3.) Kids can move (no “performing”)

4.) Full gallery + fast turnaround (no upsell games)

The best family photos do not come from perfection.

They come from being present, staying connected, and letting your family be what it already is.

Why Clients love us.

“I have never liked family photos this much in my life.” ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

— Sarah, Tampa

We are not a “perfect photo” family. My kids are feral by 5pm, my husband hates cameras, and I always feel awkward. Somehow Jeff took all of that and turned it into my favorite photos we’ve ever had.

The session felt more like a relaxed evening at the beach than a photo shoot. We played, chased the kids, got our feet wet, and he just quietly did his thing. The way he captured the little in-between moments, the kids tackling my husband, my daughter holding my hand, my son snuggling into me when he got cold absolutely wrecked me in the best way.

I’ve already printed half the gallery and my only regret is not booking him sooner.

“Zero stress, just real life beautifully documented.”
— Melissa & Jake, St. Pete

Jeff photographed our newborn at home when we were in that sleep-deprived, what-day-is-it haze, and I cannot explain how grateful I am that we booked him.

He quietly came in, checked the light, and then just let us be. When the baby needed to eat, we paused. When our toddler melted down over the wrong snack (of course), he rolled with it and somehow turned it into some of my favorite images of the two of them together.

The photos feel exactly like our life right now, soft, a little messy, and full of love. Nothing feels stiff or overly posed. Just us, in our home, in this wild little season. I cry every time I look through the gallery.

Short & Sweet / mini-style session

“My husband actually enjoyed this.”
— Daniel & Priya K, Clearwater  ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

We booked a Short & Sweet session because we just needed a few updated photos for cards and grandparents, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting to love them as much as I do.

Jeff was confident, patient, and really good with our kids (4 and 6, high energy, short attention spans). He gave us simple directions, played little games with them, and never made us feel rushed even though the session was only 30 minutes.

The images feel so us silly, warm, slightly chaotic, and full of personality. We went in thinking “just a few pics,” and ended up upgrading to the full gallery because we couldn’t choose.

Jeff Jansen Tampa Family Photographer

For families who want great photos without carrying the whole thing themselves.

I work with real families, real kids, and real moments.

My job is not to force your family into something stiff or stressful. It is to guide the process, help your kids feel comfortable, and create images that feel natural, connected, and worth coming back to for years.

As a grandfather of eight, I have a real appreciation for family personalities, family energy, and the moments that matter more as the years pass. That perspective shapes the way I photograph families. I am not chasing perfection. I am helping you hold onto what is real.
