Jeff Jansen Photography provides family lifestyle photography services to clients in New Port Richey, Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, Tampa, and the surrounding Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough County areas.
I offer on-location family portrait sessions, including multi-generational and single-parent family sessions, with a candid, unposed shooting style. Owner Jeff Jansen has operated the business since transitioning from wedding photography and delivers finished digital galleries directly to clients.
How sessions work: I call it guided-candid. I give you enough direction to put you in good light and give you something to do, then I step back and watch. You’re not told to freeze in place. You move, you interact, you exist. I watch for the real moments.
Sessions are built for how families actually behave. Kids who won’t sit still, dads who’d rather be somewhere else, moms who are worried nobody will cooperate — that’s every session. It settles down once everyone stops thinking about the camera.
New Port Richey has good spots for family sessions, especially if you want natural light, shade, and room for kids to move.
Sims Park is my most-used location — river, live oaks, visual variety, all walkable from one lot. Green Key Beach and Anclote Gulf Park work well for that open, coastal sunset look. Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park if you want something wilder. I can also shoot in your home, which is underrated and often the right call for families with very young kids or newborns.

What you get
A curated gallery of your strongest images from the session, hand-edited in a warm, natural style. Depending on your collection, you’ll have options for prints, albums, and wall art so the photos don’t disappear into your camera roll.
What sessions cost
Session packages and collections start at $300.
A $300 Mini Session runs 20–30 minutes at one location for 25 edited images. A $475 Full Family Session doubles that to 60 minutes and 30–45 images with 7–10 day delivery. A $995 Multi-Generational Session covers up to eight people over 90–120 minutes at up to two locations, delivers 60+ images in seven days, and runs $75 per additional person.
Every session includes full download with print rights, a private online gallery, and a what-to-wear guide before we shoot.
What to wear
Neutral or earthy tones. Clothes you can move and sit in. Comfortable shoes. Coordination over matching. I’ll help you figure out the specifics after you book.
A few questions I get often
What if my kids don’t cooperate? That’s every session. My approach is built around movement and patience, not pressure. We don’t need perfect kids.
When’s the best time of day? The last 60 to 90 minutes before sunset. Early morning works too, especially for toddlers in warmer months.
Do you travel outside New Port Richey? Yes. I’m based here and serve families throughout Pasco County, plus North Pinellas and North Hillsborough — Trinity, Odessa, Palm Harbor, Wesley Chapel, Clearwater.
